DEVOA 2024 Spring Summer Collection.
・ About the fabric
The outer fabric is crafted from a linen glen check fabric produced in Bishu, a wool weaving region in Japan.
It exhibits the characteristic breathability, lightness, and a washed texture that exudes a calm color tone, which are unique to linen.
・About the design and pattern
This high-neck coat is designed with a loose body width and regular-fit sleeves.
The silhouette of the body and sleeves creates a balance that accentuates the fabric's movement while maintaining a clean impression.
It features a simple design with a flap and snap-button pockets at the neckline.
The fabric is considerably lightweight and offers excellent breathability, making it suitable for spring and summer.
With its unlined construction, it can be worn as a light outerwear piece, providing both functionality and comfort.

Designer: Daisuke Nishida
Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
