DESCRIPTION
DEVOA 2024 Spring Summer Collection.
・ About the fabric
The outer fabric is made from a linen glen check fabric produced in Bishu, a wool weaving region in Japan. It is characterized by the inherent breathability and lightness of linen, along with a washed texture and subdued color tone.
・About the design and pattern
Design and Pattern: These are cropped pants with a layered hem, reaching a 9/10 length.
They are designed with a deep rise and a wide leg, creating a loose and relaxed silhouette.
The front portion features large tucks, and from the hem to the knee, there are darts that add a three-dimensional effect.
The design allows for a slightly longer visible lining, which is made of a very lightweight modified polyester developed by Teijin, known for its anti-static properties.
The double-layered design is lightweight and breathable, making it suitable for wearing even in the relatively warmer seasons of spring and summer.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
