DEVOA 2023-24 Autumn Winter Collection.
・About the fabric
The outer fabric is produced by Faliero Sarti, a prestigious Italian fabric manufacturer.
The fabric was produced by bringing an old loom that remained in Poland to the production site of Faliero Sarti.
The loom broke down during production and could not be repaired, so the quantity of this fabric is limited.
The thick linen yarns, which have a firmness and movement that gives the fabric a pulled texture, are processed in a unique way.
It is a special linen material with a vintage feel, as if the wearer's wrinkles remain intact.
・About the design and pattern
These wide silhouette easy pants are made with a pattern that forms three-dimensional wrinkles.
The silhouette is undulating on both sides when viewed from the front, and creases are created around the thighs from above the knees in the back.
The hems are cut and the waist is elastic with a drawcord.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
