DEVOA 2024 Spring Summer Collection.
・ About the fabric
The outer fabric is produced in Bishu, a wool weaving region in Japan, using a blend of linen and washi (Japanese paper) fibers.
The fabric undergoes a washer finish, resulting in a unique texture that showcases the characteristic delicacy, fine irregularities, and overall fullness of washi.
While retaining stiffness and firmness, the fabric is made soft and highly breathable.
・About the design and pattern
These cropped pants feature a relaxed and straight-legged baggy silhouette with a single pleat.
The design includes a hem attached at the cuffs, and the waist is equipped with belt loops.
The same fabric can be found in the jacket and vest, allowing for options to wear them as a three-piece suit or as set-ups.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
