DEVOA 2024 Spring Summer Collection.
・About the fabric
The fabric used for the outer layer is a blend of cotton and hemp, produced in Shizuoka, a region known for shirt fabric production in Japan.
After dyeing, it is slowly dried in the sun to achieve a washed-out texture, enhancing the fabric's durability and maintaining its unique texture through DEVOA's proprietary treatment.
・About the design and pattern
This shirt is crafted in a regular fit using DEVOA's anatomical pattern.
It features a semi-high neck and a collarless design.
The neckline is adorned with hand-stitching in the same color as the fabric, and the sleeves and hem have a cut-off finish.
The inner side of the sleeves is designed with contrasting colors using the same fabric.
It offers a relaxed fit while maintaining a clean silhouette.
The buttons are made from horn carved out of water buffalo's horns.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
