DESCRIPTION
UMA WANG 2024 Spring Summer Collection.
A shirt printed with dragon illustrations reminiscent of those found in ancient books, featuring subdued and calm tones derived from minerals such as rock paint, commonly seen in the traditional colors of China, the designer's homeland.
The fabric, with different degrees of dyeing for the front and back bodies, sleeves, and shoulder yokes, is combined to create a varied appearance.
The front features a semi-fly front for the buttons, employing a subtle design where only half of the button is visible when fastened. The silhouette is a loose fit with a significant difference in length between the front and back.

Fresh from her first show in the official schedule of Paris fashion week, Uma Wang can be defined as one of China's first global labels.
Since the launch of her label in 2009, she has showcased runway collections in London, Shanghai and Milan fashion weeks and she has garnered critical acclaim from the industry.
Wang trained at the Chinese Textile University in Shanghai and at Central Saint Martins in London.
She launched her own label in 2009 and Italian Vogue labelled her an 'up and coming talent'.
In 2012, the Council of Fashion Designers of America picked Uma Wang for its inaugural China Exchange.
Uma Wang's signature technique fuses knit with fabric, balancing sophistication with a timeless design. Continuously researching in transforming materials and images into precious fabrics and shapes, she is on constantly travelling around the world, where different cultures and fascinating stories inspire her for her next collection.
Uma Wang can be found in her flagship boutique in Shanghai and her label is stocked in most global cities.
