Designer Shoma Akatsukigawa is from China. After graduating from Tokyo Mode Gakuen, he gained experience as a patterner at major apparel companies and Paris Collection brands before becoming a freelance modelist and designer in 2017. He launched his own brand HEOS in 2021. The brand is named after the Greek mythological god of dawn, symbolizing the mysterious and beautiful time that is considered the beginning of the day. HEOS draws inspiration from music, images, reading, and daily emotions, and the resulting pieces are relaxing, uplifting, tension to everyday life, expressing a unique style with an elegant and artisanal touch.
