Description
Padded reversible pants.
The padded reversible design condenses the appeal of contrasting materials, allowing two completely different stylings in one garment.
They use 75-denier polyester taffeta in both warp and weft, and combined with fused yarns, retain a structured silhouette with body.
A slight nap and vintage processing have been applied, giving the polyester a warm, natural-material feel.
An original design by the atelier team is rendered by inkjet printing.
The reverse side uses a Madras check woven from traditional yarn-dyed cotton threads from southeastern India.
The deep coloration is coated with sumi ink on both sides in Japan’s Sanyo region and then one-washed to create a soft hand and to bring out a profound expression of the underlying base pattern through faded coloring.
A warm printed face and a traditionally historic checked face.
Depending on your mood or coordination, either can take center stage, making these pants a piece that adds depth to autumn and winter outfits.
