DESCRIPTION
Peng Tai 2024 Spring Summer Collection.

A double pocket shirt with a rich texture due to uneven dyeing.

Dyed in a light color named 'Worm Wood,' it's based on a grey scheme but with a natural, warm coloring.

This color is hand-dyed, creating a unique presence with unevenness reminiscent of vintage wear.

The pale hue pairs well with black leather buttons, creating contrast within the dark tones and asserting its presence.

These buttons are also used on the side pockets.

A piece with the appealing texture of just the right vintage workwear.

About Peng Tai
Designer : Peng Tai

Philosophy :Peng Tai, born and raised in Taiwan, initially learned fundamental skills such as pattern cutting, three-dimensional cutting, and sewing techniques before moving to the United Kingdom.

After graduating from the London College of Fashion in 2017 with a Masters in Menswear, he moved to Paris where he created clothes for his muse and wife Isa Kwai, who also works as an atelier manager, and received positive reviews from buyers around the world.

The core of Peng Tai's creation lies in the five elements of the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin Yang and the Five Elements (Earth, wood, metal, fire, water), based on which he approaches the relationship between nature and humans, and between humans and clothing, and expresses them in a precise balance.

The flattering silhouette based on human anatomy and attention to detail provide exceptional comfort. Subtle, muted colors evoke a classical taste. Everything from patternmaking to sewing and dyeing is done by hand in their Parisian atelier.
