FASCINATE_THE R (Shinsaibashi, Osaka) has just received a new brand A TENTATIVE ATELIER which will start handling from 24-25AW (autumn winter) collection.

A TENTATIVE ATELIER is a brand started in 2012 by members from Hong Kong who studied in European countries and met in London.

From 2013SS, they started showing their collection at Paris Fashion Week, and in early 2023, they moved their design studio from Hong Kong to London.

The men's line was launched in 2023-24AW.

A TENTATIVE ATELIER's creative philosophy is to focus on the details of garment construction, exploring innovative forms, silhouettes, and deconstructed details that transcend gender and time. More than just a fashion brand, the brand aims to create new forms, carrying on the spirit and tradition of craftsmanship.

The team consists of specialists in each field of design, pattern, sewing, graphics, and bag and shoe artisans.

In addition, with over 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of researching and collecting fabrics, the team carefully selects and uses vintage fabrics made or found in Europe and Japan. These fine and rare fabrics are carefully tailored by skilled craftsmen with over 50 years of experience in the apparel industry.

The resulting garments have a beauty in imperfection, an understated elegance, and a nostalgic sentiment.

For this first season, the brand offers a total of 10 styles: 1 coat, 2 jackets, 4 shirts, 1 knit, and 2 pants.

Coat

One Coat with a large collar and oversized features has arrived.

TWO TONE REPLICA PATCH COAT

This double-breasted Coat has an original design with a switch of fabrics for the top, bottom, cuffs and collar

.

The fabric is produced in Italy, and the upper fabric is made from a raised fabric blended with linen and cashmere for a soft feel and warmth.

The lower part is made of linen herringbone fabric, creating a contrast due to the expression of the fabric.

Jacket

Jacket comes in two classic designs.

REVERSIBLE MULTI STITCHES BLAZER

A reinterpretation of the classic three-button Jacket with a contemporary essence.

Buttons on both sides, exposed stitching and interlining create depth and character to the design.

The sleeves and hem are left uncut, adding a rough look. The buttonholes on the front and sleeves, as well as the threads in the stitching, are daringly left hanging down to give a playful feel.

DOUBLE-FACED STITCHES NEEDLE PUNCH WORKER BLAZER

This casual jacket features a double-faced fabric made of black gauze on the front and checked on the back

The design of the patch pockets and cuffs is accentuated by the metal buttons at the sleeve ends and the hand stitching on the breast pocket and front, giving the jacket a warm, hand-crafted feel.
