FRACTION is the brainchild of designer Akira Nakano, who studied history at Sophia University before working with international fashion brands and leather shoe craftsmanship.
The name "FRACTION" refers to something small and partial, embodying the designer's philosophy of "foregrounding our seemingly insignificant perspective as just one part of society."
