MotivMfg – Short Sleeve Shirt with Dimensional Texture Expressed Through Weaving

This short sleeve shirt from MotivMfg features a distinctive dobby-woven check pattern.

At first glance, it may seem like a simple short sleeve shirt, but it's a carefully crafted piece, made entirely in-house from design to finishing, as part of the brand’s philosophy.

Since the check pattern is woven rather than printed, it adds dimension and a refined look to the shirt.

The collar, chest pocket, and sleeve cuffs use the reverse side of the same fabric, creating a subtle contrast in texture while maintaining a unified tone.

The front buttons are made from thick natural shell, reflecting iridescent hues depending on the angle of the light and adding depth to the details.

None of these details are overly flashy, but the precise craftsmanship ensures that this is a shirt you’ll cherish and wear for years—not just a single season.

The fabric is a cotton-linen blend (76% cotton, 24% linen).

The addition of linen brings a natural wrinkle texture, giving the shirt character even when worn on its own.

Combining the softness of cotton and the dry touch of linen, the fabric is breathable and features a double-gauze structure that helps reduce clinginess in hot weather while also accommodating temperature changes at night.

ZIGGY CHEN – Wide Trousers with Excellent Breathability

These wide trousers from ZIGGY CHEN are paired with the shirt featured earlier.

Featuring a deep rise and cropped length that reveals the ankles, the trousers incorporate a fake double-cuff design that draws the eye.

The silhouette is relaxed with little taper, offering a beautiful unisex wide-leg style.

Elastic is built into the sides of the waistband to ensure a comfortable fit even without a belt, while belt loops, a LANFRANCHI LAMPO zipper, and buffalo horn buttons with a distinctive sheen enhance both utility and texture.

Patch pockets with inverted pleats add detail, while the flap buttons are intentionally placed off-center for a playful touch.

The inside features piping that wraps raw edges with separate fabric tape, and contrasting pocket linings—a luxurious finish meant to be appreciated by the wearer.

The trousers use yarn-dyed 100% linen plain weave fabric, with layered hues that shift in tone depending on the light.

The dry touch and high breathability typical of linen keep the fabric from clinging in hot weather, while the fabric softens and deepens in color over time, allowing you to enjoy its evolution.

For footwear, UMA WANG’s padded leather slide sandals were chosen.

They add a summer vibe that complements the linen trousers while maintaining the richness unique to leather.

The upper is made of Italian calf leather that wraps around and is stitched into the sides of the sole, combining a cohesive appearance with structural strength.

The upper is soft and gentle on the foot, and reinforced tape is hidden inside the strap to prevent stretching, maintaining a snug fit even after extended wear.

High-density foam is embedded in the insole, and the 3.5cm thick rubber sole absorbs impact from hard surfaces like asphalt effectively.

The sandals have a slightly wider than average width, offering comfort even for high arches and ensuring a smooth stride.

Due to the use of natural leather, minor scratches and wrinkles may be present, but as the oil seeps in over time, the leather becomes more flexible and develops a deeper hue, enhancing its character.

These sandals pair well with a wide range of outfits, from linen trousers to cropped pants, adding a substantial accent to relaxed summer looks.
