Vintage Work Coat Combining Different Fabrics

A work coat featuring a black denim body with a faded finish and striped quilted sleeves.
The contrast in texture from the mix of different fabrics is part of its appeal.
The denim, given a subdued gradient through vintage processing, is combined with large, practical pockets—reconstructing the framework of a work coat into a contemporary design in true KHOKI style.
This is a piece that will be useful from early autumn when the weather starts to cool.

The coat’s biggest appeal lies in the design that combines twill denim with visible ridges and nep texture for the body, and striped quilted material for the sleeves.
The mix of different fabrics creates a play of light and shadow, elevating it into a design unique to the brand.
Additionally, the front body is equipped with four large pockets that balance functionality with form, a characteristic detail of work coats.
While retaining the traditional details of a work coat, KHOKI adds its own interpretation, resulting in a highly design-conscious finish.

The silhouette is designed to offer a relaxed fit with extra room in the body width, while avoiding excessive looseness in the shoulders and chest.
KHOKI’s signature “loose straight lines” reduce stress during movement while keeping the silhouette neat.
The long length, set slightly extended, balances the volume of wide pants while emphasizing vertical lines when paired with slim bottoms.

The material is 100% cotton denim.
The combination of denim’s durability with the warmth and lightness of quilting is one of its key appeals.
The sturdy denim used ensures the durability expected from a work coat, while cotton’s suppleness provides comfortable wear even over long periods.
To recreate a worn-in look, the fabric undergoes wash and aging processing, resulting in a vintage finish from the outset.
The actual texture has a slight firmness, making it tough and versatile enough for a wide range of styling occasions.

For the inner layer, we selected a T-shirt featuring a print design reminiscent of a painting.
The glimpses of the print peeking through the gaps in the work coat serve as an accent to the styling.
The silhouette is designed to be loose without being overly tight, making it a versatile piece that can be worn on its own as a top or as an inner layer under a coat, as shown here.

Exceptional Silhouette Balance Achieved Through 3D Cutting Denim Pants

These denim pants feature distinctive 3D cutting.
The sculptural silhouette design is expressed in a soft beige denim.
Despite its appearance, calculated paneling at the inseam and knees provides pattern-making that ensures comfort whether standing or sitting.
A single pair can greatly expand your styling possibilities.

The most notable feature is undoubtedly the 3D cutting design.
Rather than simply sewing together flat front and back panels, curved seams and paneling are used from the inseam to the knees, naturally giving the leg tubes a three-dimensional bulge and relieving stress during movement.
Subtle paneling on the thighs raises the starting point of volume.
The front is finished with a neat zipper and top button detail, while the hips feature practical patch pockets on both sides, accented with thick thread stitching for a subtle highlight.
The result showcases KHOKI’s creative precision down to the finest details.

The silhouette resembles a beautifully curved regular straight cut.
The mid-rise wraps around the hips, balancing with the upper body, while allowing moderate room from thigh to knee and tapering slightly toward the hem.
The hem is not overly narrowed, making these pants versatile for pairing with chunky sneakers, refined derbies, or high-heeled boots without losing their appeal.
The fit is neither excessively oversized nor overly body-hugging, leaving just the right amount of ease to fully appreciate the unique silhouette balance of 3D cutting.

Made from 100% cotton denim.
The fabric retains a firm hand while offering a comfortable softness that does not restrict the range of motion of the 3D pattern.
Without incorporating stretch yarn, the weave structure provides natural elasticity, making the pants breathable, durable, and moisture-absorbent—hallmarks of quality denim.
A subtle wash creates faint color variations in the beige hue, producing a soft shadow effect and a natural contrast along seams and panels.
The natural warmth and elegance of the beige color highlight the 3D cutting design even more vividly.

For footwear, we selected sneakers featuring Maison MIHARAYASUHIRO’s original sole.
These sneakers bring a street-inspired feel from the ground up.
The rugged, handcrafted-looking sole was created by designer Mihara using clay to handcraft the original mold, adding a playful touch.
Additionally, the sneakers are equipped with highly cushioned insoles, reducing fatigue and enhancing comfort.
