This coat, a key piece from the 25SS collection themed “Khayal (Imagination),” blends elements of the trench coat, kimono, and work coat into a design that allows the wearer to freely shape its “room for form.”
Constructed without lining, the single‑layer build makes it lightweight and ideal for spring and summer, while embodying the brand’s “Yukkuri” philosophy — a balance of structure and an effortless, relaxed feel.

The removable spread collar and hidden inner waist drawstring allow the silhouette to shift in an instant — from a classic trench profile to a robe‑like minimalist form.
Tightening the inner drawstring creates soft gathers and adds depth to the back view, while loosening it lets the fabric flow into a smooth A‑line for easy movement.
A deep back vent running to the knees ensures mobility, whether climbing stairs or cycling, without feeling constricted.

The detachable collar, secured with button loops, transforms the piece into a V‑neck gown coat when removed.
When worn with the collar attached and the two front buttons fastened, the coat takes on a proud, structured silhouette reminiscent of a military trench.
For this styling, the collar has been removed to expose the shirt collar underneath, adding visual interest around the face.
Oversized flap pockets, partially concealed within the side seams, are designed to hold essentials like a wallet or smartphone without disrupting the coat’s clean lines.

Wooden buttons and large patch pockets preserve its rugged workwear essence, while the complex color variations and weathered texture add a distinct artisanal character.

The fabric blends 59% cotton and 28% linen, which absorb dye unevenly for a natural variation in tone, with 9% polyester and 4% elastane to withstand high‑temperature dyeing and intense creasing.
The color, aptly named “Dirty Wine,” evokes a faded crimson as if mixed with rusted iron.
Pairing it with charcoal or off‑white pieces accentuates the color variations, while combining it with simple palettes allows its rich shading to stand out — a hallmark of this tie‑dye technique.

For accessories, we chose sunglasses with a vintage‑inspired frame reminiscent of antique eyewear.

ZIGGY CHEN Tucked Balloon Trousers Expressing the 25SS Theme “GNARTRICATE”

These tucked balloon trousers embody ZIGGY CHEN’s unique worldview.
Combining military and luxury, as well as Eastern fluidity and Western tailoring, they present an unmistakably distinctive finish.
They are a physical expression of the 25SS theme “GNARTRICATE,” which explores the harmony between the decay of weathered architecture and artistic refinement.

The front features three asymmetrical tucks of varying lengths, with the deep central tuck emphasizing vertical lines and controlling the fabric volume smartly.
This design creates a rich fullness from the waist to the thighs while maintaining a clean look from the front.
The waistband uses a hybrid construction with partial elastic shirring at the sides, allowing the wearer to choose between a beltless relaxed fit or a polished, belted look depending on the styling.
The cuffs are fixed with turn-ups, giving the appearance of a double cuff that adds weight to the tapered line and creates beautiful drape movement as you walk.

The silhouette features a deep rise, allowing the trousers to sit lower at the hips for a voluminous, airy balloon shape that narrows sharply toward the hem.
