Highlights of the DEVOA 25-26AW Collection

The DEVOA 25-26AW collection draws inspiration from the words of poets such as Jean Cocteau, engraved on benches at the Palais Royal in Paris.
The theme is “AESTHETICISM,” pursuing “beauty” from various perspectives, such as aesthetics and functionality in clothing.

Design and Silhouette

The collection incorporates a mix of elements such as military, workwear, outdoor, and sports.
It combines the tough and powerful feel reminiscent of past DEVOA works with a relaxed, natural atmosphere.
Items include a mods coat based on a gas coat, classic work jackets, and no-collar jackets that can be worn like cardigans—offered in a wide variety.

Outerwear and tops mainly feature DEVOA’s unique anatomical fit and loose fit.
Light outerwear for early autumn is designed to also function as innerwear during winter, allowing for extended seasonal wear through layering.

Pants include wide cargo and cropped styles, with an increased proportion of slim pants this season.
This allows for a more balanced silhouette when paired with tops.

Commitment to and Exploration of Materials

One of the standout fabrics this season is an original camouflage pattern developed over four months.
At a Kyoto factory that also handles dyeing for overseas luxury maisons, different dyeing techniques were layered to create a unique and richly textured camouflage pattern, characteristic of DEVOA.

Additionally, knits and fabrics made from a cashmere and silk blend directly sourced from Nepal were developed. The unprocessed, raw texture of the yarn offers a wild and flavorful feel.
High-quality camel hair and virgin wool from Italy’s Faliero Sarti are also used, offering exceptional value given the rarity of the materials.

From the high-performance line “DEVOA EXIST,” a specially processed polyester fabric has been developed.
It features moisture permeability, windproofing, 2-way stretch, and abrasion resistance, as well as easy-care qualities that allow for home washing. The matte texture suppresses the typical sheen of synthetic fibers.

The philosophy of designer Mr. Nishida is deeply reflected throughout the creation of these garments.
Prioritizing the wearer, the collection pursues not only beautiful textures and silhouettes but also comfort, ease of layering, and long-term versatility.
Without excessive assertiveness, this collection brings out the individuality of the wearer—a truly accomplished collection.
