VEIN
「VEIN（ヴェイン）」は、熊谷和幸氏が手掛ける「ATTACHMENT（アタッチメント）」から派生し、2019年に誕生した気鋭のメンズブランド。デザイナーは、現在アタッチメントのデザインも率いる榎本光希（Koki Enomoto）氏です。アンダーカバーやユリウスで研鑽を積んだ確かな実力で、2020年春夏パリコレクションにてデビューを飾りました。コレクションを貫くコンセプトは「structural expressionism（構造表現主義）」。服の構造そのものをデザインとして捉え、現代生活に見出される価値を探求した、ミニマルで力強いクリエイションが魅力です。その根底にあるのは、フランスの建築家ジャン・プルーヴェへの深い敬意。プルーヴェが全体像より先に柱や梁のディテールからスケッチを描いたように、榎本氏も自身をデザイナーではなく「企画者」と位置づけ、生産工場との綿密な対話を重ねながら一着の衣服を構築しています。
