trace boston / Trace Boston is a minimalist Boston bag announced in 2024.
This Boston bag, released with the "both poles" concept, focuses on leather characteristics rather than functionality, challenging how to express brand identity while eliminating unnecessary decorations.
The basic functionality and usability as a bag are also considered. Like cornelian taurus's signature "long stone" item, the zipper opens from the very bottom of the gusset for wide accessibility. It fits A4 documents and 13-inch PCs, making it suitable as a business bag.
The bag's corners feature straight-line forms as accents while maintaining easy opening/closing. External pockets are omitted to minimize visible seams and stitches, instead using large leather pieces generously. The gusset uses darts to highlight leather texture with subtle stitching accents.
Handles are attached from inside outward to emphasize the leather rather than just being attached to the bag.
Its classic simple design works for both formal and casual occasions, business or leisure wear.
Uses Dutch Veal kip - a new vegetable-tanned cowhide with pit tanning. The grain surface has a cordovan-like elegant gloss.
