Made only from extra-long staple cotton―the top 2% of cotton harvested worldwide―and woven in an Oxford structure rather than a high-density plain weave to balance depth of appearance, breathability, and strength. While it has Ventile's characteristic firmness and body, it remains supple and has a substantial weight rather than being thin. With repeated wear the fibers settle, bringing out cotton's natural softness and a beautiful patina (fading), making it a fabric that is enjoyable to develop over time. It offers good breathability and is suitable for wear from spring through summer and into autumn.
