Materials vary by color. The wool version uses a soft, lofty wool fabric from the renowned Italian mill Faliero Sarti, with a slightly textured surface, fine handfeel, and substantial thickness. The washi-linen version uses an original fabric developed in-house and finished with a stone-wash process to bring out rich expression, characterized by the crisp, dry touch and slightly rough texture unique to washi linen.
Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture―an area famous for bag making.
