Description
This is a mods coat based on a military gas mask coat.
It features a button-detachable hood, a relaxed-fit silhouette, and a mid length that also works as a jacket.
Each pocket has snap buttons, and the voluminous hood designed to cover the neck is also striking.
Removing the hood allows it to be worn as a simple high-neck coat.
The fabric uses an experimental original material that characterizes this season's DEVOA.
Inspired by an original camouflage motif, a two-step dyeing process using dyes and pigments is applied to the cotton material.
It was completed after over four months of repeated testing at multiple dyeing factories, followed by original finishing processes such as bio-washing and water-repellent treatment.
The final dyeing is carried out at a Kyoto factory that also handles production for high-end international maisons.
The actual fabric production is a complex process that can take up to two months, resulting in a material full of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
