Product Description

This piece reconstructs the M65 field jacket into a drop-shoulder, loose silhouette using Bishu-produced dobby fabric woven with Japanese paper and wild silk.

【Design】 Based on the U.S. Army M65 field jacket. Faithfully incorporates military-derived details like the high neck with chin strap, shoulder epaulettes, and drawstrings for waist and hem adjustment. The front fastens with snap buttons.

【Silhouette & Fit】 Features a relaxed fit with a dropped shoulder and generous width. While offering a relaxed feel, its structured details create a three-dimensional form.

【Fabric Texture & Feel】 Made from a blended fabric of Japanese washi paper and wild silk, produced in the Bishu region of Japan. The dobby weave creates a subtle check pattern and highlights the characteristic neps (slubs) of wild silk. The fabric's porous fiber structure makes it lightweight, highly insulating, and excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture, while also offering antibacterial properties. It feels crisp when new but softens with wear and washing. Recommended seasons: Spring, Fall, Winter.
