Description
This is a simple, no-collar jacket designed for easy layering. While the overall silhouette is relaxed, the shoulders are slightly narrower for a clean, crisp impression. The sleeves feature modified raglan sleeves for ease of movement, with tucks at the elbows creating a three-dimensional arm shape. The front features YKK's premium matte silver Exela double zipper. The fabric is a Japanese paper silk crazy check dobby weave, produced in the Bishu textile region of Japan. The brand continuously develops this fabric, altering its composition and colors. Characterized by a subtly emerging check pattern created by the dobby weave, it's made by interweaving Japanese paper and wild silk. Wild silk creates a natural, rustic texture through its uneven thickness and visible “knots.” Its porous fiber structure traps air for superior warmth in winter and excellent moisture absorption/release for breathable comfort in summer. The fabric itself is lightweight and boasts excellent antibacterial properties. While initially crisp and firm, it softens remarkably with wear and washing, evolving into a richly textured material that evolves over time.
