That milestone cemented its reputation for material innovation and narrative-driven design. doublet's collections experiment with recycled fibers and bespoke concept fabrics that challenge conventional aesthetics while underscoring sustainability. Deconstructive pattern work dismantles and recombines garment parts, often referencing vintage wear, punk, street, and otaku culture, as well as themes of diversity and technology. Runway shows serve as living manifestos - mixing comedy, theater, and tech like reverse playback or virtual humans - to blur the line between presentation and performance.
