doublet 26 Spring Summer Collection.
A work jacket made from garment-dyed, washed duck fabric embroidered with realistic vegetables such as onions, carrots, bell peppers, garlic, red chili peppers and eggplants.
This piece translates the "chain-embroidered jacquard" series from the 25AW season into jacquard embroidery of "fruits and vegetables" for this season.
The rugged silhouette reminiscent of vintage workwear contrasts with the overflowing vibrancy of the vegetables.
The hem is finished with fringe processing.
Reflecting this season's theme of "farming," the same material is also used for items like overalls.
We are able to live because there are people who till the soil, sow seeds and grow vegetables.
Mindful of that effort and time, we pack the richness of life into the pockets.
Perhaps a small sense of gratitude―an "itadakimasu"―resides in our everyday clothes.
