GUIDI Shoes collection
This is a mid-cut model of the single-piece leather back-zip boots, first introduced in the GUIDI early days 2005 A/W season.
Both the outer leather and the liner are molded from a single piece, resulting in exceptional comfort and large wrinkles on the upper after repeated wear.
Widely recognized and loved for a long time, this is a representative masterpiece of GUIDI. The single-piece boots can be said to be a feat possible only because it is a leather factory brand that produces supple and drapey leather by applying a heavy amount of oil leather to tumbler dyeing at the product stage.
This model features the X item number, with a slightly wider width setting than conventional models, making it a shape that is easier to fit for more people. The sole is single and the heel is double. The manufacturing method is a robust Goodyear welt that becomes more comfortable to the foot the more it is worn.
The material used is horse leather, a classic and representative leather of GUIDI.
The full-grain vegetable-tanned leather perfectly matches the rugged texture unique to GUIDI leather with its minimal and pared-down form.
The more you wear them, the more they fit your feet and you can fully expect a deep aging change.

■ Characteristics of natural leather and product dyeing
・ Due to the nature of the material, slight scratches, wrinkles, color unevenness, and abrasions may be seen.
・ Due to the brand’s unique identity of object dyeing method, the dye penetrates deep into the core of the leather, making it prone to color transfer.
・ To avoid damaging the original texture, aging, and unique “slipperiness,” no color fixing process has been applied.

■ Precautions and countermeasures when wearing
・ Initial wear precautions
Please avoid or be very careful when coordinating with white or light-colored clothes and socks for several months from new.

・ Prior care
To suppress color transfer, it is recommended to spray “leather conditioning and waterproof spray” on the entire surface before first use when new.
The fine fluorine film prevents external moisture and suppresses dye bleeding from inside, greatly reducing the risk of color transfer.
