“23” is a play on the Japanese reading “niisan” (older brother), and the nickname is “Peterson Niisan.”
With a classic upper design and a voluminous sole, it places more emphasis on design compared to the original PETERSON.
This is a low-top model featuring an upper made of cow leather.
The biggest feature is the brand’s original “handmade” sole, said by the designer Mr. Mihara to have been created by hand using clay to form the base mold, resulting in the signature uneven, sculptural texture.
A highly cushioned insole is built in to deliver comfortable wear.
