This UTILITY PANT was designed inspired by the utility trousers issued to the U.S. Marine Corps for the brief period of only one year from July 1944 to around October 1945.
As they were intended for field use, these pants are designed for crawling and forward-leaning postures, and in addition to the distinctive cargo pockets on both front sides and the large rear pockets believed to have held rations, ponchos, grenades, etc., they feature front waist pockets with reinforced knife slots to accommodate more active situations.
There are sub-pockets inside the large rear pockets to improve storage convenience.
In the original utility trousers, suspender buttonholes were used on the waistbelt to prevent the pants from slipping down under the weight of large capacity pockets; however, this modern UTILITY PANT uses an original shirt-grip waistband with embedded silicone resin.
The lining is finished down to below the knees to provide a comfortable fit.
The material uses CORDURA _ COMBAT WOOL※, a next-generation wool that combines the natural functions of wool with robust durability, designed to create a UTILITY PANT that combines durability and mobility.

Since the 1990s, INVISTA, which has supplied fabrics like CORDURA _nyco for U.S. military combat uniforms, developed this strongest next-generation wool material in 2014 at the request of the U.S. military.
While CORDURA _nyco is composed of 66 nylon and cotton, COMBAT WOOL replaced the cotton portion with wool at the request to develop a new material with superior abrasion and tear resistance.
This new wool material retains wool's natural soft hand, insulation, moisture permeability, resilience, mildew resistance, and odor resistance, while incorporating the excellent durability of CORDURA _ nylon.
