The “D.D. Shell Goggle Down Jacket” stands as one of the most important pieces in C.P. COMPANY’s history.
Combining the signature goggle-integrated hood with the brand’s proprietary D.D. Shell technology, this short down jacket offers exceptional lightness, softness, and warmth―challenging all preconceived notions of down outerwear.
The innovation lies in the “D.D. Shell” method.
Instead of using a separate down pack, feathers are directly injected into compartments through a process called “Direct Down Injection,” achieving remarkable weight reduction and flexibility.
The real breakthrough comes after the down is filled―the entire garment undergoes garment dyeing.
Thanks to C.P. COMPANY’s dyeing expertise, the stitching and components absorb color differently, creating a one-of-a-kind depth and texture in each piece.
The shell is crafted from ultra-fine 7_10 denier micro ripstop nylon, combining lightness with high tear resistance. Garment dyeing gives it unique crinkles and a metallic, deep tone that plays beautifully with the fabric’s luster.
It’s filled with premium white duck down (95% down / 5% feather), contributing to both lightness and excellent insulation.
The iconic goggle hood includes an adjustable drawcord for fit.
Functional features include a vertical zip pocket at the chest, dual hand-warmer pockets, an interior pocket, and a double zip front for versatile styling.
The fit is modern and regular with a slightly cropped, city-friendly silhouette. Ribbed cuffs and a drawcord hem protect against the cold.
