These are easy cropped pants using a material that the designer particularly favors and was central to starting this season's collection.
The waist is a drawstring, and the hem also has a drawstring, allowing for silhouette changes.
The silhouette is exquisitely set, not too slim and not too wide, having a relaxed feel without looking sloppy.
This item is from a series strongly inspired by the "Aubrey Beardsley" exhibition the designer visited in the spring.
Beardsley was active during the "Art Nouveau" period (around the end of the 19th century) and was like a pop artist of his time, dying young at the age of 25-26.
The pattern used for this item is an original created by the designer himself, collaging "unfinished" looking designs found on the internet on his PC, while reflecting the historical background of Beardsley's time and the Art Nouveau atmosphere.
By intentionally choosing a fabric with a striped (horizontal border) weave pattern, embroidering on top of it, and then adding a used feel with "product dyeing," a deep expression like "medieval house wallpaper" is born.
The material has an optimal thickness and soft texture for a spring outer.
