An idea the designer had been nurturing since his years at ISSEY MIYAKE, realized and offered as a standard item from the 2025 Fall/Winter collection.
The key concept is the transformation “from flat to three-dimensional.” Laid on the floor, it forms a flat circle; when lifted, it morphs into a spherical or crescent-like three-dimensional bag.
Despite its minimal construction without gussets or a bottom board, it naturally drapes along the body depending on contents and how it is carried.
The material is a high-density nylon with a subdued, matte finish reminiscent of sportswear, giving a refined look.
It has a water-repellent finish, remains highly durable, and is very lightweight.
Thanks to moderate firmness, the fabric holds beautiful drape and shape even when empty.
The handles are cow leather, adding contrast to the nylon and an elevated feel.
The leather will mold to the hand and develop deeper color with use.
The opening features an iron part shaped like the brand logo, finished in matte black.
Set in a “LARGE / BIG” size, it boasts capacity for A4 documents, a laptop, 1_2 nights’ travel gear, and even a winter coat.
The opening closes with snap buttons, and there is an internal sub-pocket.
Practical details include a concealed zip pocket under the handle, not just design for design’s sake.
