Design-wise it follows classic 5-pocket jeans; the front uses a button fly in homage to vintage denim.
With the theme “simulated vintage,” this multi-layered woven structure fixes aging effects into the weave itself.
Whiskers and wear patterns from actually worn vintage jeans were scanned and digitized, then engineered into the weave structure―not applied as a post process―so the pattern is created through structural variation.
Fading is expressed not by “dye removal” but via added colored yarns/structures; whiskers appear as floats in the weft rather than abrasion dents, and the jacquard’s subtle relief casts shadows that add depth beyond print.
Even the hem finishing mimics turn-ups and fraying via jacquard expression.
After weaving, washing, bleaching, and destroy treatments fuse realistic aging with textile precision.
Although it looks heavily distressed, the hand is thick and smooth; because the “designed deterioration” is built from weave structures, tear strength and abrasion resistance are maintained.
At 13.5 oz―comparable to standard jeans―the dense weave helps the silhouette hold its shape.
Enjoy “double aging,” where jacquard’s “simulated wear” layers with the “real wear” that develops through use.
Pairs well with boots and substantial sneakers; in summer, wear with sandals, and in winter adjust with layers for year-round wear.
