Whiskers and wear from actually worn vintage denim were scanned and digitized; fading and damage are designed at the weave stage and expressed structurally rather than via post-processing.
Fading is conveyed by adding colored yarns/structures, not dye removal; whiskers are expressed as weft floats, and jacquard relief casts shadows for depth beyond prints.
The construction wraps a single panel asymmetrically around the waist, creating layered fabric at the front and an uneven hemline.
The bold overlapping front and raw fringed hem express a tension between elegance and wildness.
After weaving, wash/bleach/destroy treatments merge realistic aging with woven intricacy.
Though it looks heavily distressed, the hand is substantial and smooth; because the damaged-looking areas are woven structures, tear strength and abrasion resistance are maintained.
At 13.5 oz―on par with standard jeans―the dense weave keeps the silhouette from collapsing.
That firmness prevents the fabric from falling straight when wrapped; instead it flares outward to an A-line or gentle flare.
