DEVOA 26SS (Spring/Summer) Collection “THE STILL CENTRE”
This season’s theme expresses a worldview in which two opposing elements coexist, framed as “yin and yang.”
At its core are an elegant, clean “black style” and a “handmade style” that conveys artisanal craftsmanship. These dual aspects are realized primarily through fabric selection.
Rather than carelessly fusing materials with different properties, the focus is on respecting and drawing out each fabric’s texture and character.
As a result, the wearer can enjoy each taste independently according to mood and styling, or combine the two to create a personal look.
Design and Silhouette
The designs are rooted in simplicity while incorporating diverse elements such as military, workwear, and European classic, achieving refined casual wear.
Silhouettes center on relaxed, loose fits for both tops and pants.
Instead of merely sizing up, DEVOA creates adult-appropriate looseness through precise pattern work—keeping the shoulders compact and adjusting front–back fabric volumes to build three-dimensional forms.
Materials
All materials this season are originally developed in domestic and international production areas.
In Japan, wool fabrics are produced in Bishu, cotton fabrics in Enshu, and loop-wheel jersey in Wakayama.
Overseas, the range includes handwoven textiles developed with local artisans in the Varanasi region of India, and “Hybrid Wool,” a washable wool co-developed with REDA, the renowned mill in Biella, Italy—yielding a wide variety of textures.
Each fabric is translated into design according to its properties, with adaptation to recent climate change as a key consideration.
By balancing materials wearable from the very start of the season with lighter fabrics suitable for high summer, the collection avoids shortened wear periods.
From the look as a single layer to comfort in layering and practical usability across seasons, every detail is carefully calculated.
DEVOA 2026SS “THE STILL CENTRE” allows opposing elements to coexist, letting the wearer’s sensibility complete the style.
