The model name is derived from New York, a city where new styles are constantly emerging.
The upper design inherits elements from ASICS' iconic archive shoes like the "GEL-NIMBUS 3" and "MC-PLUS V," while the sole features the touring system of the GEL-CUMULUS 16, offering a retro feel and contrasting aesthetics.
Combining lightweight foam and GEL technology, it provides superior comfort.
This lifestyle shoe is dedicated to those living in the new era, combining ASICS' iconic archive shoes, timeless design elements, and inspirations from modern culture.
The "GEL-NYC" is available in two colorways: CREAM/OYSTER GREY and GRAPHITE GREY/BLACK.

About TIGER RUNNER II
Additionally, starting today, online pre-orders for the "TIGER RUNNER II" have begun. This model features a nostalgic design inspired by the jogging shoes "OHAIO" and "X-CALIBER" from the 1980s archives, offering both cushioning and style.
The upper uses mesh material for excellent breathability. The insole is made of EZFOAM, combined with an E.V.A. midsole to provide comfortable wear.
The release is scheduled for Thursday, August 15. Pre-ordered items will be shipped as soon as they arrive in stock.
