Founded in 2001 in Osaka by designer Naoki Ichihara, TALKING ABOUT THE ABSTRACTION has consistently pursued the goal of creating something unprecedented and surprising through new expressions.

The brand's concept is rooted in blending "old things and cultures with modern objects and technologies," drawing inspiration from traditional ethnic clothing, antiques, and subcultural elements.

The brand has gained a global following, particularly for its signature transfer print items.

This season, the collection includes standout pieces like a hoodie featuring graphics of a rare early MA-1 jacket from a legendary designer brand, and easy pants with transfer prints of highly sought-after, yet faded, vintage denim from the 1940s to 1970s. Both items embody Ichihara’s emphasis on creating a “slight sense of discomfort,” a key aspect of his design philosophy.
