Female Staff: Usually wears 23.5cm

We interviewed a female staff member who typically wears size 23.5cm shoes and tried the same size in the GEL-PTG.

She found the low-cut version to fit perfectly, with no discomfort at the toes.

For the high-cut version, she felt the ankle support was good, and going up half a size to 24.0cm provided a more comfortable fit.

Male Staff: Usually wears 25cm

A male staff member who normally wears size 25cm shoes mentioned that the GEL-PTG in the same size felt a bit tight around the width and toes.

Considering that the shoes may break in with wear, he suggested that for sports, the exact size might work well, but for everyday use, going up half a size could be better.

Comparison with High-Top "GEL-PTG MT"

The GEL-PTG comes in low-cut (7 holes) and high-cut "GEL-PTG MT" (8 holes) versions.

The low cut has 7 holes and the high cut has 8 holes. Although there is not that much difference in height, the low cut has a large concave on both sides of the footwear opening, while the high cut has no such concave and the footwear opening is flat.

This gives the high-cut version an enhanced hold around the ankle, and it is also designed to look very different.
