Designed by Hideyuki Yamashita, who succeeded Kayano, the GEL-KAYANO 14 was introduced as the 14th model in ASICS’ GEL-KAYANO running shoe series in 2008.

That same year, it received the "INTERNATIONAL Editor's Choice" award from the U.S. running magazine "RUNNER'S WORLD."

The award is decided at the INTERNATIONAL SHOE SUMMIT, where representatives from various countries gather to honor the most outstanding shoes released that year.

Female Staff Review: Usually wears size 23.5cm

The 23.5cm size fit well in width but felt slightly tight in the toes.

Going up to 24cm provided more room in the toes and better width comfort, making it ideal for sports.

In size 24.5cm, there was ample room overall, making it perfect for city walks.

Male Staff Review: Usually wears size 26cm

Wearing 26cm felt slightly tight in the toes, although the width was fine, giving a snug fit.

At 26.5cm, there was slight tightness remaining in the toes, but it was ideal for sports.
