The coordination we are introducing uses the recently arrived 2024-25AW items from MASU, a brand named after the Japanese polite form "masu," which proposes timeless items and styles for fashion lovers.

The styling centers around a coat, a useful winter item.

It is a relatively easy-to-copy, stylish coordination, and we hope this blog serves as a reference for your own styling.

MASU’s Iconic Brushed Sweater Paired with a Long Coat with Presence

For the top, we selected the recently arrived MASU 2024-25AW Brushed Sweater.

This pullover knit sweater is made of a thick, sturdy fabric perfect for winter.

The logo printed on the front is an homage to a graphic found in a Paris souvenir shop.

With a relaxed, moderately loose silhouette, it can stand alone as a statement piece.

It is made from lightweight, insulating alpaca material, which is smooth to the touch, resistant to pilling, and has a gentle texture that reflects the brand's worldview, resembling angel feathers.

For outerwear, we selected a long coat with a powerful silhouette, a signature of the brand.

The extremely wide shoulders and long length give this piece a strong presence.

Although it appears to be a classic coat, MASU’s unique elements are incorporated throughout, such as the notch at the back of the collar, the cut on the lapel, and the second lapel sprouting from the facing on the right side.

The lapel can be buttoned up to cover the mouth area, resembling a mask, adding to its design appeal.

Signature Denim Pants and Back Zip Boots with Hidden Craftsmanship

For pants, we chose the baggy pants from the MASU BOYS line.

These denim pants feature the brand’s popular signature silhouette.

While incorporating elements of vintage style, the details and silhouette have been updated to showcase the brand’s originality.

The laser-bleached graphic of angel wings fluttering adds a touch of the brand's creativity.

Additionally, the pants are crafted and processed in Okayama, Japan, a denim mecca, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship.

For footwear, we selected the mid-cut model of Guidi's "One-Piece Back Zip Boots," originally released in the 2005 A/W season.

Both the outer leather and lining are molded from a single piece, providing an excellent fit.

Over time, the upper develops deep creases, creating a personalized look.

The boots feature a double-sole design, and the leather, treated with a tumbler dye process, becomes supple and drapey, resulting in highly attractive boots.
