Today, we are excited to introduce the new printed T-shirts from DEVOA , available at FASCINATE (Osaka Shinsaibashi).

Each T-shirt features three different original graphics created by DEVOA, each conveying a unique message.

These special pieces are crafted with the meticulous attention to detail that DEVOA is known for, from the materials to the patterns. In this introduction, we will delve into the designs, patterns, and materials of each T-shirt, so please stay with us until the end.

Three Designs with Different Messages

Let’s start with the designs.

Each T-shirt is available in three colors: black, coffee, and concrete.

The lines of the prints are set as fine as possible, with each print color using a complementary color to the base, creating a subtle yet unmistakable presence.

This graphic is inspired by the concept of yin and yang from ancient Chinese philosophy.

The design transitions from a circle to a straight line, symbolizing the idea that yin and yang, though opposing forces, are not strictly separated—there are elements that lean towards yin or yang, meaning “nothing is 100% perfect.”

The back print features the coined term "APEX ECHELON," which is the basis of this season’s collection, further expressing the collection’s worldview.

This T-shirt, with prints on both the front and back, showcases DEVOA’s originality.

The front graphic combines circles and straight lines, along with a sequence of words inspired by cryptography and random phrases related to the human body.

The back also features the term "APEX ECHELON."

Only the top one is spelt correctly, while the bottom three are faded or reversed, conveying the message that "even in a world flooded with similarities, there is only one true original."

The final design is a graphic that represents the idea that when one thing starts moving, everything related to it starts moving as well.

The central and outer circles depict the direction of movement, while the two circles at the top and bottom represent the sun and moon.

The yin and yang, along with the numbers 3, 6, and 9 depicted from above on the central line, symbolize reincarnation, visually conveying DEVOA’s profound worldview.

This design reflects Nishida’s personal philosophy and ideas rather than just the theme of the collection.

A Silhouette that Balances Comfort and Appearance

The silhouette is compact in length, while the body width is loose.

The shoulder area features a dropped shoulder in the front and a raglan sleeve in the back, taken from a single piece of fabric.

Despite the loose silhouette, the inverse trapezoid shape from under the arms to the hem prevents the hem from appearing bulky.

The sleeves are also made wider than usual to match the body, but the horizontal spread is minimized, providing a relaxed fit as expected while maintaining a clean appearance around the waist and sleeves.

This silhouette, which balances both comfort and appearance, reflects DEVOA’s attention to detail.

Cotton Jersey That is Comfortable and Durable

The material used is a smooth, lint-free cotton jersey.

Although the surface has a matte and dry appearance, it is slightly thicker than the material used in last season’s printed T-shirts, offering a tougher texture.

While the jersey is tightly woven, similar to the cut sew pieces of recent seasons, it has undergone a softening process to create a supple and soft texture, along with a treatment to improve wash fastness.

DEVOA’s cut sew pieces have always used high-quality, comfortable, and durable materials, and this processing further enhances comfort, allowing you to enjoy the like-new texture for a long time.

Careful Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail in the Sewing

The neck is designed with raw edges, and the shoulder seams are carefully finished with hand stitching.

The back of the neck is sewn with covered seams to reduce irritation to the skin. The stitches use a 4-needle stitch, reminiscent of American vintage T-shirts, giving the piece a tough, vintage vibe.

The overlock stitching on the inside is done with a custom-made machine, producing very fine stitches with no visible puckering or tension on the outside, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship in the sewing.

Wide pants or slim cropped pants.

The compact length makes it easy to pair with any style of pants, whether wide or slim cropped.

It also works well with both sneakers and leather shoes, and matches a wide range of materials, from rugged fabrics like denim and military cloth to lighter, more casual fabrics.

The subdued color scheme also makes it easy to incorporate into your wardrobe, allowing for versatile styling options.
