Cardigans that have been carefully selected

This time we selected The Viridi-anne's 7G knit cardigan as the top.

The combination of 7G pique knit + thermal deformation structure, drop shoulder fabric, manufacturing method and silhouette are all carefully considered.

G or gauge refers to the number of knitting needles per inch (approx. 2,54 cm), and as the number increases, the hand-knitted texture decreases and the fabric takes on the beautiful sheen and lustre of a woven fabric.

Low-gauge knitwear is under 5G and high-gauge knitwear is 12G and above.

7G is known as middle gauge. It has the good aspects of both low and high gauge knitwear, incorporating both low and high gauge knitwear with a fine and well-balanced mesh while retaining the mesh, and has an attractive thick texture that is easy to wear, neither too thick nor too thin.

The fabric uses a knitted fabric called thermal, which is characterised by its three-dimensional, lattice-like unevenness.

The unevenness creates a layer of air, which enhances heat retention.

In addition, the fabric has a small contact area with the skin, so it has excellent heat retention properties without being clingy on the skin.

The Viridi-anne high-twisted dry cotton wide trousers were selected for the trousers.

These trousers are woven with 80/2 high twist yarn.

This material is made from the highest quality 80/2 knitted combed yarn with a strong twist. The high twist yarn has the right amount of bounce and firmness and a crisp feel that feels smooth on the skin, making it both cool and dry, a perfect material for the coming season.

The wide silhouette of these trousers can be worn with short-length tops for a leg-lengthening effect.
