Based on GUIDI’s iconic back zip boots “788,” this model is finished in a lighter ankle length. The standout feature is the use of the traditional Italian Norwegian welt construction. This highly labor-intensive process involves stitching the insole and upper, then separately stitching the folded upper to the midsole and outsole. The double stitching not only adds a design accent but also delivers unparalleled durability. The sole is equipped with a bulky Vibram tank sole that balances weightiness with excellent grip.

【Silhouette】
This is the shortest ankle height in the back zip boots series, making it easy to balance with pants hems and suitable for a wide range of styling all year round. The silhouette is sharp yet gains a solid presence at the foot thanks to the moderate volume from the Norwegian welt and tank sole.

【Material and Product Dyeing Characteristics】
Uses high-quality vegetable-tanned leather synonymous with GUIDI. Their unique object dyeing process deeply penetrates the leather dye in the finished product stage. To maximize the original rich expression and unique slightly glossy texture that appears with use, no color-fixing processing is applied. Initial wear may involve color transfer, which is also part of the leather’s natural adaptation process, developing a unique and deep patina. Due to the material nature, minor scratches, wrinkles, and color unevenness may appear; these are all viewed as natural characteristics that enhance the artisan brand’s appeal.

■ Wearing Precautions
・Initial wear may cause dye transfer to clothes. Avoid pairing with white or light-colored socks and pants until the leather is well broken in.
・To reduce color transfer, applying waterproofing and leather care sprays prior to wear is recommended. Fluorine-based sprays can effectively suppress dye seepage.
