FASCINATE Limited Riders Shirts

This rider shirt is the same model as the one released in the 24SS collection, but with a leather cord arranged at the zipper ends for the 24AW version.

The idea for this project originated from the fact that the 24SS collection sold out completely through pre-orders before its release.

It's not often that all sizes sell out, but the fact that it was a leather outerwear item made it particularly memorable.

The decision to proceed with this limited release was not made solely by the author but after discussions with group members, driven by the thought that there might still be customers looking for the item.

This led us to request production from the manufacturer.

Given our long-standing relationship with the manufacturer, we were able to move the project forward while discussing production lot sizes and specification changes, adding a touch of flair to the start of the season.

As a buyer, we received invaluable cooperation.

Although the lining material differs from the 24SS version, both versions use a lining that is easy to wear, with lining included on the upper part and sleeves. This enhances the overall comfort. The sleeves feature cuffs, adding a shirt-like element.

Since this is a column, in addition to the specifications, I’d like to discuss the concept as well. The production was handled by a factory with a relationship with RIPVANWINKLE that spans about 20 years. Since the brand was established in 1997, it’s clear that the factory has had a long-standing connection with the brand.

I also spoke with Mr. Matsushita from production, who shared insights into the background of the project.

While leather is often associated with rider-style collection items, this piece was designed with the aim of creating something lighter to wear.

This design allows for both standalone wear and use as an inner layer, featuring two zippers to adjust the width depending on the thickness of the inner layers or to be used as an inner layer itself by zipping up the inner zipper.

The lightweight shirt design led to a rounded cut hem.

The flannel shirt with a check pattern set to be released in September will feature a straight hem, and this difference lies in the silhouette. The flannel shirt is a box shape, hence the straight cut, while this rider shirt has a rounded cut. The rider shirt is designed to be worn more fitted, so the rounded hem creates a rider-style look from the front and a shirt-like appearance from the back, resulting in a unique balance.

The crew neck when zipped up gives a clean look that’s distinct from a stand collar.

Rider Shirt × Balloon Bush Jersey Scheduled for Early September Release

The first styling features a combination of pants made from a new stretch material, created using a special blending technique with two types of polyester yarns with different elasticity, and a contrasting leather outerwear piece.

The popular balloon series will also be released in a new model with a bush design.

The purple dolman pairs well with the black color, adding a subtle accent perfect for autumn without being too flashy.

The second styling suggestion is a bomber heat set-up style, particularly in demand during the autumn/winter season.

The bomber heat series, which saw many set-up purchases in last year’s 23AW collection, is extremely popular, even among those who aren't brand fans, making it an essential item for the autumn/winter season with its warm brushed lining.

This winter style pairs the rider shirt with a set-up that delivers excellent performance as a standalone piece.

The side-pocket jersey includes a spindle in the hem, allowing you to adjust the length.
