The "GEL-NYC 2.0" was developed inspired by ASICS's rich archive. The upper design is constructed based on the structure of the performance running shoe "GEL-1050" released in 2000. The use of materials has been modernly updated, with gradient-applied parts and reflective details placed throughout that reflect light. This enhances visibility especially at night, while creating a sharp and technical contrast in the design.

【Silhouette and Fit】
Designed for wear in lifestyle scenes, it offers a comfortable fit. Compared to the first model, it achieves significant weight reduction, providing a light and comfortable wearing experience that reduces fatigue even after long periods of walking. It inherits the DNA of running shoes, offering stable hold that wraps the entire foot.

【Material Texture and Wear Feeling】
The sole unit, arguably the biggest feature of this model, achieves exceptional comfort by skillfully combining elements from multiple models. The midsole incorporates design inspirations from the soles of the GEL-1050 and GEL-LYTE DS II, equipped with a "TRUSSTIC" support unit to enhance stability. Furthermore, by combining the shock-absorbing "GEL" technology with lightweight and highly responsive "FF BLAST PLUS" cushioning, it pursues a comfort level comparable to performance shoes.
