From the “PACK TOTE” series, which focuses on recycling in homage to leather―said to be the world’s oldest recycling industry―this is the small-size tote bag.
Its orthodox design offers capacity to easily store A4 documents and a laptop, making it perfect for daily use.
The twill nylon is recycled from spinning-mill manufacturing waste, discarded fishing nets, and used PET bottles.
Bonding adds a distinctive texture and lightness to the nylon.
For the handle and zip-opening leather parts, H-cow (Hokkaido cowhide) vegetable-tanned in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture is used.
After being finished as a slightly less oily smooth leather, it is pressed at 50℃ to produce a unique clarity and sheen.
Reducing surface oil also helps make the bag lighter, and as a brand icon, the leather elements sharpen the casual impression of the nylon body.
Lightweight and durable, it folds for use as a travel sub-bag or eco-bag, allowing broad use without limiting applications.
A removable bottom board and a nylon shoulder strap are included.
