The wave tote HIGH was introduced in the brand’s second collection of 2026. Under the season theme “Light in the Background,” the collection focuses on the invisible elements that support beautiful form and functionality, including the origins of materials and the value of hand craftsmanship.
The design draws inspiration from the irregularly layered geological strata found in Normandy, France. Their organic beauty and the warmth of handwork are translated into delicate gathers created individually by artisans. A vertical zip pocket is discreetly integrated into the gathered section without disturbing the design, while a functional pocket is placed at the rear, achieving a balance between visual expression and practicality. An included shoulder strap also allows the bag to be carried over the shoulder, making it a versatile 2-way design suitable for a wide range of situations.

【Silhouette / Size】
Defined by a clean and elongated vertical silhouette. Although the gusset provides practical capacity, the design keeps visual bulk to a minimum and maintains a sharp appearance. From business use to everyday carry, it can accommodate essential belongings in a smart and refined manner. A simple, easy-to-use pocket is positioned inside.

【Material Texture / Usability】
The body uses the brand’s tea husk leather, a material introduced in the previous year. During tanning, a small percentage of tannin extracted from used tea leaves supplied by ITO EN is added to traditional mimosa-derived tannin. This original process preserves the natural character of the leather while creating a gentle, deep expression with restrained gloss. The approach also contributes to reducing environmental impact, reflecting the brand’s philosophy not only in the design but also in the background of the material itself.

■ Recommended Season of Use
Thanks to the nature of the material, the bag can be used throughout the year without being limited to a specific season. It is a highly versatile tote that integrates naturally into a wide range of styling and situations.
