【Design】
Designer Nishida personally collected a vast range of antique illustrations from flea markets, including advertisements, caricatures, and magazine covers from the late 1800s to early 1900s, which served as the design source. These historical graphics were reinterpreted with Nishida’s own handwritten text and other elements, creating a one-of-a-kind print applied to the T-shirt.
Conceptualized as a souvenir T-shirt sold at the Chromagnon Foundation’s museum, this collection is available in 12 diverse variations. It blends anonymous illustrations and motifs from various countries, making each piece akin to an art piece with its own unique story.
