[Material Texture & Wearability]
The fabric is a jersey produced using a rare vintage loopwheel machine (common until the 1960s). This machine knits slowly ― about 1 meter per hour ― by letting the fabric hang freely without extra tension, resulting in a unique volume that feels airy and plush. The fabric resembles hand-knitting principles, offering suppleness and elasticity, and demonstrates outstanding durability with minimal deformation even after repeated wear and washing. The original fabric dyeing is overlaid with an ink dye to express a complex, deep color. Though it has a thickness similar to ordinary cut-and-sew fabrics, it combines the firmness and softness distinct to densely knitted material, with subtle surface irregularities creating a rich texture.
