doublet 26 Spring Summer Collection.
A Birkin-style bag developed in the 25SS season under the concept of creating an "itabag (ITABAG)."
An "itabag" is a bag heavily decorated with badges, keychains, plushies and other goods representing a favorite character, idol, or "oshi."
It received a very strong response and has been developed as an iconic character-like item for the brand in a regular lineup.
For the 26SS model the specification was changed deliberately to a "stiffer leather" tanning process.
This reflects the designer’s intention to create a more rugged feel.
The bag comes with pinned badges inside, but these are all film-backed and can be peeled off and removed.
By removing all the badges, the bag can be used as a normal, simple leather bag.
A unique keyholder is also included, making this one of the items that symbolizes the brand's sense of fun.
