【Design】
This souvenir jacket uses a unique technique called “air embroidery,” which outlines embroidery solely through needle hole traces without any thread. It evokes vintage sukajan with a tiger motif emerging as if sewn with invisible air threads. The front chest features tiger faces, and the back displays the traditional composition of a tiger walking alongside Mt. Fuji and rocky mountains with the word “JAPAN.” The motifs, usually filled with colored thread, are left blank and exist only as traces rather than as tangible forms, stimulating the viewer’s imagination in an artistic finish. The front features a double zipper allowing styling variations.
【Silhouette & Fit】
The fit is relaxed with ample chest room while the length is slightly shortened to create a modern balanced box silhouette. The armholes are wide, and sleeves are designed with ribbing to create volume and drape by gathering at the wrists.
【Material Texture & Wearability】
The outer fabric is a cotton-rayon blend combining cotton’s excellent moisture absorption and durability with rayon’s smooth touch and beautiful drape, resulting in a luxurious texture. The lining is made of durable, quick-drying, wrinkle-resistant polyester, providing easy sleeve movement and comfortable wear.
