This piece condenses FDMTL's philosophy inspired by a military jacket. Functional details such as chest pockets designed with angles for a 3D effect and flap-attached waist pockets accentuate the design. The highlight is the stunning textile created from about 100-year-old "Boro (old fabric)" personally owned by designer Manabu Tsuyoshi, scanned at high resolution and used in the design. Based on the crisp one-wash indigo look before fading, it expresses a deep pattern that looks as if authentic old fabrics are layered.
